The momentum began when Steve's debut YouTube video, featuring the Woodbine Guitars Custom Shop, quickly attracted a flood of orders. However, the high costs and long wait times associated with custom shop guitars made them unattainable for many enthusiasts. This sparked a discussion about scaling up production of Woodbine's designs to make them more affordable while still preserving the playability, tone, craftsmanship, and aesthetics that fans of the custom shop had come to admire.
